Who are we?
The UNC cycling team is a comprised full time student’s
male and female, Undergrad and Graduate.
We have members that range from new riders to experienced racers, anyone
can join.
Riding:
We usual host two training rides during the week that are
chosen around the members schedules.
Rides vary between 1 to 3 hours depending on rider turnout and
weather. We promise not to drop anyone
giving their best on our training rides.
Racing:
Mountain bike season run
from the second weekend in September to last weekend in October. Road racing starts the first weekend in March
and finished the last weekend of April.
Dues:
Membership dues are $125 for the first semester and $75 for
the second semester. The team pays for member’s
entry fees, gas to most races, racing license and arranges for overnight stays
either by hotel or host hosting. Everyone
is not require to join, those wishing only to ride and training with the club
are not forced to join but encourage to help with our race and buy our jersey
for about $75.
Commitment:
We are laid back club that allows members to get involved
as much as they wish. We do ask our
members to volunteer at our March criterium race. We recently redesigning our jerseys’ last
